ELECTRONICS  AND  MICROELECTRONICS  TECHNICIANS

2 successful programs

Become an electronics or microelectronics technician
in only 2 years !

9      MONTH     CERTIFICATE

2     YEAR    A.A.S.   DEGREE

Oregon's high technology companies have varying needs of expertise and skill level. Completion of the nine-month certificate leads to statewide operators, processor and entry-level technician positions. Students with a certificate in Electronics or Microelectronics Systems Technology often continue their education working toward their Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree by returning part-time to Clackamas once on the job. Open entry and flexible day and evening course offerings accommodate the working student.

Technicians with an Associate of Applied Science degree (A.A.S.) enjoy the greatest marketability and earning potential. As a continuation of the certificate programs, Clackamas Community College offers two-year A.A.S.  programs in Electronics and Microelectronics System Technology. As a partner in the Semiconductor Workforce Consortium, our faculty are current in the latest technologies, and our curriculum and laboratories are state-of-the-market.
