Oregon City is rich with historical landmarks and is dedicated to preserving the heritage of the pioneer movement of the 1840’s.

About Portland Oregon: Just a short drive north of Clackamas County you’ll find Portland, which has been called one of “The 10 Greatest Places to Live” in the United States. Portland is famous for its many parks and gardens, including the renowned Classical Chinese Garden and the International Rose Test Garden. Portland is one of the few urban American cities with a 5,000-acre park in its city limits.

Portland is situated on two major rivers, the Willamette and the Columbia, and its port is a part of the “Pacific Rim” of international commerce and trade. You can find food from around the world in Portland’s many restaurants and specialty food shops. Rivers also mean lots of water sports, and the Columbia Gorge, just east of Portland, is home to some of the best windsurfing in the world. Portlanders are active and if you enjoy biking, hiking, running, walking and gardening, you’ll find that you fit right in!
