Clackamas County Teachers who work with ELL students*
* Need not be an ELL specialist to participate
     
  Benefits of mentorship in the Pathways to Progress program:  
  • To be paid $250 per term to mentor a first year Pathways to Progress (PTP) Clackamas Community College student in your classroom 6 hours per week during winter and spring terms (Jan-June 2006) or a student in the second year of the program during the fall, winter and spring terms (2005-2006).
  • Enjoy the benefits of having a bilingual student working with small groups and individualized learners in your classroom.
  • Attend an all-costs-paid, ASPIRE training ("Professional Development for Bilingual and ESL Paraprofessionals") to become an ASPIRE trainer.
 
  Applicants will be required to provide:  

  • Letter of interest
  • Resume
  • Letter of recommendation from building principal
