This program, offered by Clackamas Community College, gives business/industry, government, schools, and the general public an opportunity to learn about federal and state regulations that protect the environment.

Environmental Safety & Health (ESH) CLASSES

To register for the online classes listed below, log on to www.clackamas.edu

ESH 101: HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT (2 credits)
Developed by DEQ, this class offers ways to reduce, identify, store, and dispose of hazardous waste in Oregon.

ESH 100: ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS   (2 or 3 credits)
After successful completion of this course you should be more familiar with:

  • Federal and State environmental regulatory agencies and their missions;
  • Federal and State environmental regulatory statutes and regulations;
  • Major points of each environmental law;
  • The agencies responsible for enforcement of environmental regulations and statutes.
