Yuknavitch + Mingo: May 26

Join us Thursday, May 26 at noon in Gregory Forum 108C for a screening and reading of Bravo America, a short film by CCC English Instructor Andy Mingo, which was adapted from the short story by Oregon Book Award finalist Lidia Yuknavitch.

Yuknavitch is the author of three collections of short stories, Reel to Real, Liberty's Excess, and Her Other Mouths. Her critical work, Allegories Of Violence: Tracing The Writing Of War In Twentieth-Century Fiction, was published by Routledge in 2000.

Mingo's films have appeared in the Seattle Poetry Festival, PDX Film Festival, and the Northwest Film Festival. Bravo America screened at the Longbaugh Film Festival in March 2005.
