Natural Resource Teacher Professional Development Opportunities

"Connecting teachers and students to the natural world"

Introduction

The John Inskeep Environmental Learning Center and Oregon State University Extension Service are sponsoring a variety of FREE* teacher professional development opportunities for Clackamas County teachers. The goal of the workshops is to provide educators with the resources they need to engage students in learning about the natural world through meaningful experiences in the classroom and in the field. Participants will receive six or more hours of training, teaching tools/resources, and field-tested curriculum full of exciting hands-on activities for use in the classroom and non-formal settings. All activities are aligned with Oregon’s Educational Standards. Continuing education credit will be available for free through Clackamas Community College. Substitute reimbursement available for specified workshops.
