The John Inskeep Environmental Learning Center (ELC), originally created from an abandoned jam
cannery, is a 5-acre site located on the Clackamas Community College
campus in Oregon City. The ELC offers a shared space for wildlife
habitat and environmental education for children, families and adults.

250 different species of native and ornamental plants.
Discover fish, ducks and turtles in our ponds.
Listen to the rhythm of water that forms Newell
Creek.

materials.
Learn about wildlife and watersheds through our
community education classes.
-
Observe stars and planets through a 24-inch telescope in
the Haggart Observatory.
-
Experience the wonder of watersheds through hands-on
interactive school programs for
elementary-age school students.
