Mission Statement
The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.

What does it take to join?
To be eligible for membership in Phi Theta Kappa at Clackamas Community College you must:
  • Be currently enrolled Have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours Maintain at least 3 credit hours per term Have a 3.5 cumulitive GPA Have established academic excellence as judged by the faculty
  • Be of good moral character and possess recognized qualities of citizenship
