Background: Dr. Melissa Galloway enjoys working in the Career and Employer Resource Center at Clackamas Community College. She is an Employment and Training Specialist. Her focus is on the Cooperative Work Experience (CWE) program and the SMART Internships program. Melissa earned her Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University. She earned a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Organizational Effectiveness from Marylhurst University. Melissa also earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management from Portland State University. Melissa’s affiliations and memberships include: Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), Oregon Association for Career and Technical Education (OACTE), Associated Women for Pepperdine (AWP), Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, and the Lake Oswego Business Alliance (LOBA). Previously she was the Student Liaison Administrator at Pepperdine University, a Human Resource Management consultant, and worked in Human Resource leadership roles in the nonprofit arena. Melissa taught at California State University Los Angeles and Clackamas Community College. She currently teaches Masters in Business Administration (MBA) courses at Marylhurst University. Melissa completed her doctoral dissertation and it is titled, "A Community College Cooperative Work Experience Program Evaluation".
