2005 Season Recap

2005 RecapMen's Highlights
The Cougars had a great season in 2005 with a third place finish at the NWAACC Championships and one NWAACC All-American with Josh Cobb’s seventh place finish. This is the eighth year in a row the Cougars have finished in the top three. The Cougs alos placed third for the Co-ed Combined title in 2005. Clackamas now owns 50% of the co-ed combined titles since 1989. The men were also second at the Southern Region Champions last fall.

Women's Highlights
The Cougars had a great season in 2005 with a third place finish at the NWAACC Championships. Jessica Harper was the individual champion and earned All-American staus making her the second NWAACC Champ for Coach McHone. The time she won with puts her with other women that have run sub-18:20 for 5k. Lyndsey McKillip just missed All-American status after recovering from a car accident that caused a grade one concussion three weeks from championships. Both McKillip and Harper beat every woman in the conference some time during the season.
