2017 VOLLEYBALL CAMP

Grades 7-12
Date: July 25-27 Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Session 1: 9am-12noon Grades 7-9
Session 2: 1pm-4pm Grades 10-12

$90.00 per player (plus registration fee)

A three day camp working to improve play on passing, setting, digging, hitting, blocking, serving, defensive tactics, offensive systems and play sets, conditioning and plyometrics. Sessions are separated by grade but may be waived by ability by Coach Hoeke. Limited to 30 participants per session.

A parent/legal guardian signature will be required with registration.

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR ALL CLINICS/CAMPS:
All participants will receive a T-shirt… Please bring a water bottle and wear volleyball attire (athletic shoes, knee pads). All clinics/camps are given by Head Coach Sarah Hoeke, her staff and team. Location is Randall Hall Gymnasium on the campus of CCC.

ABOUT COACH HOEKE
Head Coach Sarah Hoeke played volleyball at CCC in 2000 and 2001 and went on to play at Western Oregon University. She previously coached at the high school level and club for several years then volunteered and assisted at CCC before taking the reins as Head Coach in 2015. Coach Hoeke is dedicated to the development of young athletes by breaking down volleyball skills so athletes can learn easily and reach their potential. We will ensure your volleyball athlete will get great coaching and exceptional tools for the development your player needs for success.​

Girls Softball Camps
Ages: Girls 6-13 (grouped by age)
Saturday, February 4
9a.m. –12 p.m.
Cost: $40

The camp will be an all skills camp. The girls will be grouped together by age group and skill level. It will consist of hitting and defensive skills and drills. The camp will be conducted by the CCC Women’s Softball Team.

Pitching & Catching Clinic
Ages: 6-13
Saturday, February 4
12:15 - 1:30 p.m.
Cost: $20 or $10 if attending skills camp

CCC pitching coach, Emily Smith will give instruction on the fundamentals of pitching. The CCC softball pitchers will assist each pitcher with individual feedback.

Pitching Clinic II
3 week session
Monday evenings
Jan. 23, 30, & Feb. 6, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Cost: $30
Ages: 7-13

2017 WRESLING CAMP

SUMMER CAMP June 26-29, 2017

Wrestling Camp - June 26-29, 2017Clackamas CC, the 2011 NJCAA National Wrestling Champions and runner up at the 2015 & 2017 tournaments,  will host the annual “Train to be a Champion” wrestling camp from June 26-29, 2017 8:30 am-3:00 pm.

The camp is under direction of 11th year head coach Josh Rhoden.

Cougar Wrestling Camp is a commuter camp for wrestlers interested in increasing their wrestling knowledge and skills to train like champions. Under the guidance of camp director Josh Rhoden, this camp features the very best of Clackamas Community College. Current and former Cougar wrestlers will serve as camp counselors and clinicians.

All camp sessions will focus on collegiate/folk-style wrestling with emphasis on mat wrestling and takedowns. Additionally, this camp will focus on becoming an ambassador for the sport with sessions that focus on citizenship, leadership, and decision-making. During our closing session, former Clackamas wrestler, Richard Jensen will share his inspirational story.

Camp Director: Josh Rhoden
Josh recently completed his 11th year as the head wrestling coach of the CCC Cougars. His teams have placed 8th or better at the NJCAA National Championships in each year of his tenure with the school. The past six years, the Cougars have finished 4th or better 5 times. The 2015 and 2017 teams finished as national runner-up and the 2011 team was crowned NJCAA National Champions. In 2011, coach Rhoden was awarded the NJCAA National Coach of the Year and was recently awarded the 2015 NJCAA Man of the Year award. At the completion of this year, Josh has lead 61 wrestlers to All-American honors!

Featured Clinician: Ian Miller
Assistant Coach at Oregon State University, 3x NCAA All American
at Kent State University.

Guest Clinician: Scott Sakaguchi
Scott was a 4x PAC-12 Finalist and 2x NCAA All American (2012 & 2013) for Oregon State University.  He is 7th in career wins for the Beavers with 129 total wins.

Guest Speaker: Richard Jensen
Richard wrestled for the Cougars during the 2006-2008 school
years. He was an NJCAA National qualifier in 2008. More
importantly, his personal story overcoming a life of addiction
through the sport of wrestling won him and ESPN an Emmy

2016 SOCCER CAMPS

Soccer Camp imageCome and experience a fun and challenging soccer camp at one of the best soccer programs in the Northwest.

The Cougar soccer team has established themselves as one of the premier junior college teams in the country, winning Northwest championships in 2004, 2005 and 2007 and region championships in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013.

About Coach Szpara
Head coach Janine Szpara has been named NWAC Southern Region Coach of the Year in three of her five seasons at Clackamas. A former Colorado College (1986-1990) standout and former US National Team member (1986-1991) as well as a professional player in Japan and United States (WUSA San Jose Cyberrays 2001-02), your child will be getting top-notch coaching and valuable tools for player development. Janine currently holds a USSF National ‘A’ coaching  license and is an Oregon ODP coach.
