2007-08 Highlights
Derick placed runner-up in the Region 18 championships and lost a heartbreaker in the 141 pound National Championship 3rd place match on a 6-5 decision.  His 4th place finish earned him his second consecutive All-American honor.

2006-07 Highlights
Derrick had a broken hand the majority of the season... took 3rd place at the Region 18 Championships and 7th at the NJCAA National Championships; earning All-American honors.
