Monmouth, OR - Clackamas track and field took care of business at the John Knight Twilight at Western Oregon University on Friday the 27th. The men's 4 x 100 relay started things off with a first place finish. Then Jeeni Schantin (sophomore, West Linn) followed up with a second place in the javelin.

The vicious sprint duo of Kenjamine Jackson (sophomore, Kentwood HS) and Wesley Keller (freshman, Tualatin HS) went first and second with times of 10.71 and 10.74, respectively. Kenjamine's time earns him number six all-time for Clackamas, and Keller's ties him for number seven all-time.

Kenjamine then followed up his 100 performance with a 21.70 (personal record of .03 seconds) in the 200 meter race, which earned him the number seven all-time spot for Clackamas.

Rachel Hemphill's (freshman, Century HS) time of 26.14 earned her a tied spot for tenth on the all-time list. Stan Wester (freshman, Oregon City HS) and Clayton Herman (sophomore, Molalla HS) both had PR's in the intermediate hurdles.

Lyndsey McKillip (sophomore, Puyallup HS) and Andria Scheese (freshman, Oregon City) went off in the 5000 meters with 32 second and 5 second personal bests, respectively. Lyndsey's performance just missed the top ten list by three seconds. Chris Baker also had a huge race with a 24 second PR in the 5000 meters bringing his best time to 16:00.

The men's and women's 4 x 400 relays took care of business in the cool of the night at about 10:30 PM. The women's team (Hemphill, McKillip, Dittmar, Burg) ran a 2.58 second PR to run 4:03.41, which solidified them as the number six fastest team to race for Clackamas. The men's team followed up that excitement with a three second PR running 3:19.90 and maintaining their spot as the fastest 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relays in the NWAACC.

Tricia Bollier (sophomore, McKay HS) finished up the night in a pole vault competition that lasted close to three hours. She had a huge PR of eight inches to finish at 11'10', which puts her number five on the all-time list for CCC.
