2005 Season Recap

2005 NWAACC Softball Champions

Cougar batterThe Cougars (29-11) needed two games to defeat Columbia Basin (30-6) for their eighth NWAACC Championship. The Hawks won the first game in a tightly contested battle. After going down 4-0, Clackamas scored three in the 5th inning and 2 in the 6th inning to take command. CBC came back in the top of the 7th with 2 runs to force a second game.

In the second game, the Cougars took control early scoring four runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings to go up 8-1. Clackamas was led by tournament MVP Holly Marlow and NWAACC Coach of the Year Paul Fiskum.
