Classroom and Community Excellence

The Cougars also excel in the classroom. over the past nine seasons 18 Cougars were named to the NWAACC All-Academic Team (an honor bestowed to qualified sophomores).

The program promotes excellence in the classroom by having mandatory study hall with tutors as well as being one of a few NWAACC schools to have a dedicated academic advisor (PJ Martineau) who sets up educational plans for each student/athlete and tracks their development throughout each term at CCC.

The program also promotes involvement in the community Cougar Soccer Newswith volunteer work. The Cougars are involved with Top Soccer, which teaches children with disabilities how to play soccer. The players also have participated in an ASL walkathon, community soccer clinics and camps, the Susan G. Koman For the Cure Walk as well as fundraising throughout the community. We not only produce top athletes, we also groom outstanding students and members of the community!
