2008 13-8-4, Southern Region Champions

The 2008 Cougars faced some of the strongest competition in the program's history. The inter-region (league) play combined the NWAACC's South & East regions in '08, a year in which five of the top top eight squads in the final coaches' poll were members of the two regions.

The Cougars finished the regular season with a region title and a top four ranking in the final coaches poll.

In post season play, they defeated Whatcom Community College in the 2nd round of the playoffs to earn a berth to the final four in Tukwila, WA. Plauged by injuries to several key players, including South Region MVP Rachele Kliewer, the Cougars could not play up to expectations at Tukwila and lost both matches at the finals. [read more]

2007 19-2-2, NWAACC Champions

The 2007 Cougars got the program back to the top with a 19-2-2 record, the Southern Region Championship and another NWAACC league title.   After eliminating Columbia Basin 4-2 on a penalty kick shoot-out in the playoff quarterfinals, the Cougars returned to Starfire Stadium where they defeated Shoreline 2-1 and Walla Walla 2-1 to earn their third title in four years. Keeper Georgie Christensen was named Tournament MVP.

The 2007 Cougars filled the school's record book with entries highlighted by McKenzie Creamer's record setting 14 assists for a season. Creamer also set the bar with 26 assists during her two seasons at Clackamas.  The team's 90 goals, 17 goals allowed and 13 shutouts were all second best marks in team history.  Keeper Christensen's 13 shutouts tied the school record. Clackamas filled the South-West All-Star squad with players at every position. Forwards McKenzie Creamer (So), Kelly Lewis (Fr) and Hayley Koch (Fr); Midfielder Miriam Coto (So); Defenders Caitlin Mandeville (Fr) and Tarra McCarthy (Fr); and Keeper Georgie Christensen (So) represented the Cougars.

Christensen and Alle Petty were selected to the NWAACC All-Academic squad. [read more]

2006 14-5-1, 3rd in Region

The 2006 Cougar Women's Soccer Team wrapped up their season with an overall record of 14-5-1. Top-ranked most of the season, late season losses of midfield all-stars McKenzie Creamer and Sara Carey to injuries weakened the squad's chances of three-peating for a title.  The Cougars lost to the eventual NWAACC champion in the first round of playoffs.

Sophomore forward Hanna Nash posted 29 goals and completed her junior college career with school records of 53 goals & 9 hatricks.  Freshman midfielders McKenzie Creamer and Sara Carey also had productive offensive numbers finishing the season in third and fifth in the NWAACC for assists despite suffering season-shortening injuries.

Forward Hannah Nash, forward Stephani Catt, midfielder McKenzie Creamer, midfielder Sara Carey, defender Deidre Debski, and goal keeper George Christensen were selected to the NWAACC All-star team.

The entire team produced some amazing numbers on the season setting new Cougar records of 92 goals and 60 assists.  The defense was tough and had 10 shutouts over the course of the year.

Sophomores Dani Fenton, Meaghan Durand, and Nash were chosen to the NWAACC All-Academic Team for their successes both on the field and in the classroom. [read more]

2005 17-3-1, NWAACC Champions

The CCC women’s soccer team ended a triumphant season with another NWAACC championship in one of the most exciting and thrilling championship games in NWAACC history. The Cougars prevailed to beat Walla Walla in the first overtime to win 2-1 at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila, Wa. Seven sophomores now have back to back championships to add to their resume as the Cougars won the NWAACC championship in 2004 with an undefeated record of 20-0-2.

CCC continued their success throughout the 2005 season losing only 3 times, twice to Walla Walla, and tying once. They finished the 2005 season with a record of 17-3-1. The Cougars went undefeated in the Southern Region and clinched the Southern Regional title for the second year in a row.

Several CCC players received individual honors with Hannah Nash being selected as the Southern Regional player of the year and ended the 2005 season with 23 goals. Tianna Meduri, Amanda Triller, Nash, Emily Ingalls, Miriam Coto and Trisha Little were selected for the Southeast all-star team, with Little, Meduri and Triller as second year recipients of the prestigious award.

Five sophomores were also selected for the NWAACC all-academic team. They included Meduri, Triller, Stephanie Rodriguez, Ashley Webster and Nicole Cahill. The CCC women’s soccer team represented the most selections for any sport at any college. [read more]

2004 20-0-2, NWAACC Champions

The 2004 women’s soccer team finished undefeated with a record of 20-0-2, clinching the NWAACC southern region and crushing Tacoma 6-0 in the NWAACC championship game! The Cougars had 17 shutouts for the season, scoring a devistating 79 goals and yeilding only five goals. Vicky Rodriguez was named Southern region player of the year and Tracy Nelson was named NWAACC coach of the year. Vicky Rodriguez, Amanda Triller, Tianna Meduri, Megan Diebel, Trisha Little and Jessica Engman were selected to the all-star team.

2003 10-7-2, 2nd in Region

The Cougars finished second in the Southern Region Division and once again were defeated by the eventual NWAACC champions, North Idaho, in the quarterfinals of the NWAACC. Five players were selected to the Southern Region all-star team (Stevie Smith, Ashlee Strachan, Megan Moore, Cheyenna Deangelo and Megan Diebel).

2002 15-5-2, 2nd in League Regular Season

First year, 2002, the Cougars compile a 15-5-2 record, finishing second in league. The Cougs season ended with hard fought 3-1 battle to eventual Champions Walla Walla in the quarterfinals of the playoffs. Tara Tinner was the leading scorer in the NWAACC and was named the Southern Region MVP. Five players were selected to the NWAACC all-star game.
