After a year of playing forward in 2006, Christie moved to her preferred position on the defensive side of the ball in 2007. She was a major contributor in the Cougars' record 13 shutouts this season and allowed only 0.43 goals per game against NWAACC opponents... Christie became the squad’s corner kick specialist and tallied 11 assists this season. Most of her assists have come from corner/free kicks and she even scored her only goal of the season from a well executed corner kick that bent into the goal. Member of the 2007 NWAACC Champion Cougars. Christie's 11 assists this season ranks her 5th (tie) for the Cougars' single season records and her career total of 14 ranks fourth overall.
