Lady Cougars earn Scholarships!!
Copeland and New sign at four year schools

Rachel Copeland has signed a National Letter of Intent to play at Vanguard University in Southern California and is receiving a full scholarship from the Lions.
Copeland led the Cougars in scoring for the last two seasons and will leave Clackamas as the 2nd leading Career scorer in school history with 1112 points.
This past season Rachel averaged 21.5 points, 4 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2 steals per game, helping the Cougars reach the NWAACC Championship Tournament for the 8th straight season.
Copeland was a NWAACC Southern Region First Team All-Star in her two seasons at Clackamas
She was also selected to the NWAACC Sophomore All-star game as well as a member of the NWAACC All-Academic Team. Later this spring Rachel will receive her AAOT (Transfer Degree) from Clackamas. Next season Copeland will join a Vanguard team who will be defending its NAIA National Championship they won earlier this spring.
Kelsey New has signed a National Letter of Intent to for the Owls of
Oregon Institute of Technology and is receiving a full tuition scholarship.
New, a two-year starter for the Cougars, averaged 12.5 points, 4 rebounds, 3.5 assists this past season.
She will leave Clackamas as the career record holder for three-point shots made with 161 over her two seasons.
Kelsey was a member of the NWAACC Southern Region HM Team both seasons and was selected to play in the NWAACC Sophomore All-Star game.
She was also selected to the NWAACC All-Academic Team as well as earning the NWAACC Academic Leadership Award. New will receive her AAOT (Transfer Degree) from Clackamas later this spring.

All three Lady Cougar sophomores earned academic and athletic awards
for the 2007-08 season.
Rachel Copeland, Monique Tribble and Kelsey New were selected to the Southern Region All-Stars and to the NWAACC All Academic Team.
Copeland was selected to the all-star first team, Tribble to the second and New as an honorable mention.
