Cooper & Hunt Receive Scholarships

Oregon City, Ore. - Kellyn Cooper has signed a Letter of intent to play at Southern Oregon University and will receive a full scholarship from the Raiders. Cooper, who led the Cougars to a 2nd place finish (11-3) in the Southern Region this past season, averaged 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks per contest. She will leave Clackamas as the career leader in blocked shots for both single season and single game. Kellyn was selected to the NWAACC Southern Region First Team as well as being a member of the NWAACC Sophomore All-Star team. She will receive her AAOT (Transfer Degree) from Clackamas later this Spring.
Charday Hunt has signed a National Letter of Intent to play at Sacramento State University next fall on a full scholarship. Hunt was the Cougars leading scorer (20.1 ppg) early this season until injuries forced her to miss and redshirt the remainder of the season. Her
freshman season Charday led the Cougars to the Southern Region Championship (13-1) and was named Southern Region MVP. Hunt averaged 19.4 points per game which ranks her fourth in the record book for Single Season. Because of the medical hardship redshirt, Hunt will have 3 years of eligibility left for the Hornets. Charday will receive her AAOT (Transfer Degree) from Clackamas later this Spring.

Region All-Stars Announced
Rachel Copeland and Kellyn Cooper Selected

Vancouver, WA. - The 2006-07 NWAACC Women's All-Star team and regional Coach of the Year selections have been announced. Sophomore post Kellyn Cooper and sophomore guard Rachel Copeland were selected to the South Division First Team.
Cooper was 10th overall in the NWAACC in productivity, eighth in defensive rebounds, 14th in offensive boards and eighth in total rebounds. She was also third in blocked shots. Copeland was 16th in field goals made and 14th overall scoring. She was also 12th in three-point shot made (stats comparison based a minimum of 10 games played)
