Academic Performance!
Since 2001, the men’s basketball program has produced 19 members of the NWAACC All-Academic Team, including the NWAACC Scholar-Athlete for 2005 (Wes Jensen) and 2006 (Martin Axnick.) We pride ourselves on our academics and also on helping our student-athletes move on to four-year institutions.
We work very hard to place all of our athletes after they compete at CCC. Some of our players have moved on to play at: Gonzaga University, University of Hawaii, Hawaii Pacific University, Western Oregon University, Eastern Oregon University, Southern Oregon University, University of Alaska-Fairbanks, Linfield College, Mesa State University, University of Northern Colorado, Houghton College (NY), Willamette University, Lewis & Clark State, Concordia University, Cascade College, Whitworth College, Black Hills State University, Montana State Northern, Adams State University, and many more.
Special recognition also goes to the 2007 team, who achieved a team GPA of 3.43 for winter term while they were winning the NWAACC championship!
