PROGRAMS

The Art Department offers courses in Drawing, Painting, Basic Design, Metalsmithing, Jewelry, Gallery Design and Management, Sculpture, Computer-Aided Graphic Design, Photography, and Ceramics. The Art Department offers courses and curriculum that fulfill Arts and Letters as well as elective requirements for the Associate of Arts or Science Oregon Transfer Degree (AAOT or ASOT). These courses may also be used to fulfill requirements for the Associate of General Studies (AGS) degree. Our classes will meet requirements and prepare art students who intend to transfer to a four-year institution as an art major. Our classes are also suitable for the lifelong student who would like to develop their artistic skills and knowledge. Students who decide to transfer and pursue a bachelor's degree in art will have a strong foundation for the pursuit of a career in the arts.
