FACILITIES

The Art Center was first opened for classes in the summer of 2003. The building houses the Drawing and Painting Studio, Design Studio, Jewelry and Metal-smithing Studio, Photography Studio, Ceramics Studio, and Sculpture Studio. The building also holds faculty offices, a main office with an art library, and a woodshop. There is an exterior covered work court for welding, bronze casting, and firing the electric and gas kilns.

WORKSHOPS

The Art Department holds weekend and evening workshops for 0 or 1 credit. These workshops are designed for art students, working artists who want to learn a new technique and community members who have an interest in art making.
