When should I meet with an Academic Advisor?

• Although meeting with an Academic Advisor is not required, we strongly recommend that all students meet with an Advisor at some point while they are attending Clackamas Community College.

• New Student Advising Sessions are an ideal way to begin your experience at Clackamas Community College. These sessions will generally be held on the first day of open registration, with no appointment necessary to attend; however, New Student Advising Sessions for Fall Term will be held throughout the Summer, by appointment only.

• If you are unable to attend a New Student Advising Session, or are a returning student, anytime is a great time to meet with an Academic Advisor! Come in to the Advising and Counseling Center in the Community Center to get started.
