I didn’t send in my registration last year; is it too late?
Unfortunately, late registration can no longer be accepted. Students must register on-line during the registration dates that will be listed on the high school course list page.

Should I wait until I know my grade before I register?
No, do not wait to register, you will not be able to register for the college credit if you miss the registration deadlines.  It is important to register during the registration period so you will be on the grade sheet for your high school teacher to complete. If you decide you do not want the college credit for a class you have registered for, you have until the last day of the registration period your class is registered in to drop the college class.

Should I wait until my senior year to register for all my eligible courses?
No, do not wait until your senior year to register for the college credits. You must register for your college credit(s) each year as you take the courses.

How will I know I’ve received the college credit?
The registrar's office will mail or e-mail you a registration confirmation.  You will also be able to check your student schedule on-line through the myClackamas system at https://my.clackamas.edu/.

How will I know if these credits will transfer to my choice of college?
It is always important to check with the college or university you plan to attend to know how these credits will be applied. It is smart to register for the credits now, even if you are unsure of how you will use them in the future. Often times students near the end of their college program and find they are a credit or two short and if they had only registered for the college credit available through ACC, they would not be short.  College credits can also be beneficial for military salary placement and employment opportunities.

What colleges/universities accept ACC credits?
The list of institutions that have accepted ACC credits are listed here. This list is not all inclusive, but is a growing list as each year we hear back from participating students about where they attended and how the credits were received.
